The aim is to create a virtual universe of conceptual objects that may be composed to produce more complex concepts and ideas.Two different groups have been working in different directions that are being merged day by day:
- Athens School of Fine Arts group is investigating theoretical and philosophical aspects concerning how a concept or idea can be degraded to a formal description that can be expressed through a digital world
- Paris-8 group, an expert in virtual spaces, is developing the platform based on the conceptual requirements
The architecture of the platform is multi-layer and is illustrated in the above figure.
